The Sealyhams were used hunting in packs. A pack could be everything from ten to twenty dogs. It was of course very important that they all got along together. A hunt was usually a whole day long . About 3000 rabbits, were credited to the Illmer Pack of Sealyhams each year, in addition to pheasants and other game.
